What gets stored

Atlaso stores the memories your tools capture — distilled notes about decisions, preferences, and context — not recordings of everything you do. You can see every single one in the dashboard: nothing is hidden from you about you.

Secrets are scrubbed before anything is saved

Before a capture leaves your machine, it’s scanned for secrets — API keys, tokens, passwords, credentialed URLs — and they’re replaced with placeholders. A password assignment becomes DATABASE_PASSWORD=[REDACTED]; an AWS key becomes [REDACTED:aws_access_key]. The server scrubs again on arrival as a second net.

Two scopes, walled off

  • Personal memory follows you everywhere — your preferences and ways of working, visible to every connected tool.
  • Project memory is keyed to its project and never leaks into another one — if a memory’s project can’t be verified, it stays hidden rather than risking a leak.

What your memory is never used for

  • Never trained on, never sold. We don’t train models on your memory, and we don’t sell it.
  • On the Free plan, your memory content is never sent to any language model at all.
  • On Pro, content goes to our AI provider only to generate your own results (enrichment, Ambient, Ask) — nothing else.

Deleting and exporting

  • Forget any memory, anytime, from the dashboard — it hard-deletes and the deletion syncs to all your devices.
  • Export everything as JSON from Settings (a Pro feature).
  • Want your whole account gone? Email support@atlaso.ai and we’ll delete it — we don’t have self-serve account deletion yet, so we do it by hand, promptly.
