Three plans, no fine print you haven’t seen — an upward ladder: Free (1 device, 1 active tool), Pro at 10/month,andBuildat10/month, and **Build** at 25/month for developers. Billed monthly, cancel anytime.

The short version

Build includes everything in Pro, plus the developer memory API — it’s one plan, $25/month, not an add-on. Full comparison on the pricing page. There’s no annual plan and no trial — the free plan is the trial.
Building your own product on Atlaso’s memory? The Build tier is documented in full under Atlaso Build — a memory API with a private memory for each of your end-users.

One plan at a time

Your account is on exactly one plan — Free, Pro, or Build. Moving up (Free → Pro, Pro → Build, or Free → Build) takes effect immediately and is prorated: you’re charged only the difference for the rest of the current billing period. Moving down (Build → Pro) takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. You can’t hold Pro and Build at the same time — Build already contains Pro.

Upgrading

In the dashboard: Settings → Upgrade. Checkout is handled by Stripe; Pro activates the moment payment completes — your other devices and tools start syncing into the one shared memory immediately.

Cancelling

Settings → Manage billing → Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then drop to Free. No forms, no emails, no retention hoops.

What a downgrade actually does

  • Your memories are never deleted. Everything stays in your account, on any plan.
  • Pro AI features — Ambient Memory, nightly enrichment, Ask your memory, JSON export — stop when Pro ends.
  • Your extra devices and tools get a 5-day grace window where sync keeps working, so nothing breaks mid-week while you decide.
  • After the grace window, the device you used most recently stays connected (with one active tool, per Free); the others are disconnected — not wiped. Reconnect any of them anytime, or upgrade again and everything resumes.

Refunds

EU/UK customers keep their statutory 14-day refund right. Details for everyone else are in the refund & cancellation policy.
